Cataract
Canyon is a world-renowned section of the Colorado River
located in the heart of Canyonlands National Park. Our journey
begins in Moab, Utah, where we'll see an amazing geological display
of sedimentary rock. While on the river we'll have time to explore
ancient Anasazi Indian ruins, observe various types of wildlife,
and examine the tenacity of desert flora. Cataract has 28 separate
rapids with several that are considered to be among the 10 big
drops in North America. At trip's end we will be flown back over
the arid, isolated landscape to Moab. If you enjoy hiking, desert
country, Anasazi culture and whitewater, this trip is for you.
