Day 2: Today we'll explore a large-horizontal river cave, to familiarize everyone with their equipment. Overnight at our base camp. Day 3: Single rope technique session, afternoon/evening cave trip to nearby pit caves to practice our newly learned skills. Dinner and overnight in our base camp. Day 4: Today we'll explore a spectacular cave which is a pull-down thru trip. Starting at the upper entrance, we'll rappel, climb, swim and crawl along a subterranean river to a lower entrance. "Simply outrageous" is what our past clients say about this day. Day 5: Rappelling into deep vertical shafts and ascending back out will be the highlights of the day. Late afternoon transfer to San Cristobal de las Casas. Visit this cultural/colonial city. Dinner, and camp in a campground. Day 6: "The Climax", El Chorreadorro. A spectacular river cave which requires rappelling into deep pools, swimming narrow canals, and jumping into crystal clear plunge pools. Labeled as the "world's funnest cave", we'll start at the upper entrance and explore 7 kms of outrageous cave. Hotel and farewell dinner in Chiapa de Corzo. Day 7: Transfer to Tuxtla Gutierrez for morning flights home.

Southern
Mexico is the international "hot spot" for caving and
the region we will be concentrating on is the Cerro Blanco, in
the state of Chiapas, Mexico. It is simply littered with a full
spectrum of caving opportunities. No experience is necessary,
but a spirit for adventure and good physical conditioning are
strong prerequisites.
Day
1: Flights to Tuxtla Guitierrez, Chiapas,
Mexico. Tuxtla is the capital of Chiapas.
Lunch and travel into the highlands 3 hrs.
to our base camp. Equipment orientation, dinner,
camp.
RESERVATIONS:
To reserve space on any trip, call us for
a reservation form, fill it out, and send
it along with a $350 USD deposit per person
to Ceiba Adventures. The balance is due 45
days prior to departure, unless other arrangements
have been made. You will be notified upon
receipt of your deposit, which must be made
in US currency exclusively.
